Mayo Clinic offers expertise to country’s health care challenges

Earlier this week, Mayo Clinic President and CEO Dr. John Noseworthy sent letters to President Obama and Congressional leaders. As the federal government grapples with the nation’s fiscal crisis and works to find solutions to financial challenges in health care, Mayo Clinic offered to share our expertise in proven cost-saving, patient-centered solutions. For nearly 150 years, Mayo has delivered team-based care, and patients have greatly benefitted from our “bench-to-bedside” translational approach to clinical research. We are on the front lines of redefining the science of health care and stand ready to help come up with common-sense solutions to improve our health care system.

One Response to Mayo Clinic offers expertise to country’s health care challenges

  1. Nancy Coulson-Smith says:

I love Mayo Clinic! I can fly to Mayo, see my doctors and have my blood work done cheaper than I can have my blood work done at my local hospital! I see all the doctors in one place in two days. I get my mamogram results over the phone before I leave on the plane! They are efficient!
