Earlier today, Mayo Clinic was notified of a pipe bomb in the trunk of a vehicle in the Generose Building parking ramp. There were no stated threats and this was a low-risk situation. Out of an abundance of caution, the immediate area surrounding the location was secured. The Bloomington Bomb Squad was dispatched and removed the bomb without incident. No patients or staff were at risk. We thank all emergency responders, including law enforcement, and Mayo Clinic staff who responded to this incident.
