Mayo Clinic and Care Connectivity Consortium to Address Interoperability at HIMSS 2012

Dr. Dawn Milliner, Chief Medical Information Officer, Mayo Clinic, explains why the Care Connectivity Consortium believes finding a national solution to interoperability is crucial to the future of health care in America. Our patients deserve the safest, highest quality, most cost effective care and that means health care delivery needs to be coordinated. Interoperability will allow all health care providers to deliver on this need.

The time to collaborate and join forces is now.

HIMSS is a cause-based, not-for-profit organization exclusively focused on providing global leadership for the optimal use of information technology (IT) and management systems for the betterment of healthcare.
