Lake City Police Officer Shawn Schneider Dies


We are very sorry to report that Officer Shawn Schneider of the Lake City Police Department died earlier this evening in Saint Marys Hospital at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. The family thanks everyone for their overwhelming support and well wishes during this difficult time.     Bro you held on as long as you could. Rest easy knowing your brothers and sisters in LE got your back, your wife’s back and your kids. Keep the peace up there my man. We will not let u die in vain. 2011 was the worse year in a long long time for cops getting killed. We all will watch our own backs as I’m sure you will. As cops we need to go back to the old days and be cops, put fear back in the bad guys and re gain the good folks trust. Train to be warriors not community service servants… God bless you bro. I’ll say a prayer for ur family every night! Thanks you for your service you will be missed but NEVER forgotten.. Keep y’all heads up! God speed
