Radiation Oncology Treatment Center Opens in Northfield


Mayo Clinic is hosting a grand opening ceremony for its new radiation oncology treatment center in Northfield, Minn. on Monday, June 27, at 3 p.m. The new 13,000 square-foot facility employs 12 people and is located at 1821 North Ave. The center meets the requirements of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification program, meaning it has been built with energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality and resource stewardship in mind.
