i had a bad childhood…. my parents think i love them but i don’t .. why would i love someone who hurts me .. thankGod for that surgery.. im getting it

Hey Marie, I was looking up info before my surgery for D.B.S. on the 31st of march at cleveland clinic. I have had severe refractory depression for about 9 years and I was finally accepted a few weeks back after years of back and forth with the clinic. Right now, it is in the research phase so it is experimented therefore no cost to the patient, other than travel. I am the last patient in this phase of the trial but I believe they are planning on starting a new phase after a review by the FDA. There are only a handful of sites doing it so you’ll have to find the one closest to you and be prepared for many trips before and after surgery with many many tests. I hope this will be a successful treatment not only for me, but others in the future. Good luck, i’ll try to post here again after the recovery phase.
