Mayo Clinic Hosts First Military Health System Fellowship Program This Week


Current and future decision making leaders from the Military Health System will be at Mayo Clinic today through Wednesday for a new MHS Fellowship program, in which Mayo Clinic leaders will share insights on Mayo Clinic’s organization and practices, and will provide facility tours.

MHS says the goal of the new program is “to provide MHS senior leaders the ability to discuss and collaborate with their colleagues in the civilian sector. The overarching themes of the visits will include transformational leadership and culture, reengineered clinical and administrative processes and infrastructure.”

Among topics to be covered in presentations at Mayo Clinic are:

  • Mayo Model of Care
  • Patient Logistics
  • Patient Experience
  • Health Information Technology
  • Global Products and Services
