Genetic Makeup May Determine Response to Depression Treatment


Researchers at Mayo Clinic have found that genetic variations could explain why some people with depression respond better to a certain treatment.  David Mrazek, M.D., chair of the Mayo Clinic Department of Psychiatry and Psychology and senior author of this new study, comments why the findings are important for patients.
